The Return of the...Beregond?
Well, it looks like GW have finally caved in to pressure! Back after an enforced absence of a few years is this great little Citadel Guard hero!
See him in all his glory here, and discuss it here.

Well that's my first attempt at a news pic...and if no one minds, I think I'll wait until after exams to do my next, since it took about 1 1/2 hours, and it's now almost 2 AM! Ho hum. At least it'll be faster, now I know what I'm doing!

Yikes! Shows how out of the loop I've been, I wasn't even aware that he was gone/unavailable.

Lol, yeah, he's been completely unavailable now for a good year, and quite possible significantly longer. There's been a lot of complaints about it on other sites; he is a nice model, and I suppose GW took the excuse of more Citadel Guard to re-release him.
Another unlisted model is Lobelia Sackville-Baggins - one sold on Ebay a few days back for something like £32 (the original price was £5, if that). How I wish I'd bought a few back in the day! Ah well...how long before that one makes a reappearance, I wonder?

I'd be kinda surprised if she ever made another appearance. Seems like GW is mainly supporting The War of the Ring now, and Hobbits really had no roll in it. So I'll be surprised if we see revised Hobbit forces ever.
But...never say never, I guess!

It's a nice miniature.
As for Hobbits, if I recall correctly, there was a troop of them that marched out to the war. It was only a brief reference, and may have been another war - it's been a few years since I've read it.
Either way, the Hobbit fans (of which I'm one) can always hope.
Thanks for posting this up SD, well done.

GW have quietly phased out a number of models in the past 18 months or so. The only ones I can think of are Lobelia Sackville-Baggins, Bilbo Baggins, Beregond, Elladan and Elrohir, and Kings of Men - but there will be more; they're just the ones I've noticed.

OK, no problem - your English is better than any other language I know!
It's difficult. Your best bet is probably EBay - I have seen Elendil models up there at fairly regular intervals - in fact, here's one on the UK site. Failing that, you could go through my list of independent retailers - especially among some of the smaller ones, there may be chance that they still have a few OOP models left in stock.
Other than that, I can't really think of anything - I really think that EBay is your best course.

Pretty much anything that was produced in metal and is now in plastic has gone or soon will be when stock runs out - A few examples off the top of my head are....
Metal Orcs'
Metal Haradrim Raiders
Metal Moranon Orcs
Metal Faramirs Rangers
Metal Haldirs Elves (will go soon)
Metal Knights of Minus Tirith
