Happy Christmas 2009.

Well, it's that time of year again, so...

Many thanks for your support, have a great Christmas, and here's to 2010!

I will be having a rather quiet Christmas. Mum and her boyfriend are going out of town soon, and my sisters are going to my dad's for the weekend, so I'll be spending a relaxing weekend writing for SotDL and getting my Misty Mountains army assembled for an army painting challenge for next year.

But tomorrow however will be wild and not quiet as I run a Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game (the day after Christmas no less...sacrilege I know) and cooking wildly to get everything cooked, baked, and ready for the ensuing madness

Have a terrific holiday everyone!!

Got the Rohan Command and the Isengard Command boxed sets, along with the Elven Commnad (Last Alliance) blister for Christmas this year. Add that to the Fortified Manor House model I got for my birthday a few weeks back and I'm plenty deep in new LotR stuff. The manor house had required some serious converting, however, to make it suitable for LotR. Why does GW insist on covering all their scenery in bloody skulls? These should be optional bits. Instead I have to cut them all out with my Dremel tool.

All those skulls are a same indeed, even WHFB players complain about that! I'm looking forward, however, to what you've managed to make from it then.

Agreed about the optional part - GW are literally obsessed with them, and they really ruin the look of a model: I know SD has filed every single one off his Space Marines, and I was very tempted to on the Mordor Shaman (although I actually enjoyed painting them in the end :blush2:)
