War Table Campaign Thing

Last time i was active there was news about a campaign that the admins ect. whoever was organizing involving a lotr campaign . I was just after some information on what is going on??

I notice the furom also seem a bit quiet lol...

so ye, any news will be great as that campaign was something i was looking forward to participating in.

lol, no one has the time nor the patience to organize it or run it seems. We got stuff done on it, kinda, but its mostly backstory and possible options. No actual rules were actually set...

wish i could be less bleak about the subject

What's VoTR? I seem to remember it from TWC, but not what it acually is...

Don't be discouraged by the lack of definitive replies since you posted the above. All the admins/supermods are pretty busy with life outside cyberspace ATM, from what I can tell, so will take a while to notice you. Krahl was talking of taking some new staff on, but it required some work cleaning up certain forums...which I presume is still ongoing. So just wait and see what answer you get...it will materialise eventually, when anyone in power has time to breathe!

VoTR means "Vassel Of The Ring", and is an online game based on games workshops LOTR game, in which you play the game without the models.

yes it was it was the game on the computer without the miniatures, it had an image of the minature on the base in 2d veiw it was kinda allright last time i remember. although it is not the same as the real thing, you can still play a game effectively, but.....

I often wonder whether Games-Workshop will produce a Lord of the Rings Strategy Battle Game computer game, to attempt to broaden the appeal., but I think it pretty unlikely now.
