Hey guys. I was wondering, why not different Elven Nations Allegiances? Example- The Noldor can be either Lindon or Imaldris. The Sindar can be in Lórien or Mirkwood. I'd be in Lórien. Just curious.

well, for one, there aren't nearly enough people who are in the elven allegiances to make four out of two. Active members anyway.
neat idea though, except that you should join Harad instead, cause we would totally kill you.

Or join Mordor. I mean we're as close to the Elves as it gets for Evil. So join Mordor, cause we would totally kill you.

Personally, I think that both Elven allegiances should be thrown together. Now that they don't have different profiles, it seems as though an elf is an elf is an elf.
Either that or the allegiances should be reorganised into the area specific places as it is in TOR2RTA

There are still enough differences in army lists to have at least Sindar and Noldor as seperate. That no question especially with the differences in equipment and heroes. Same thing with tactics, if you make a themed Sindar army and a themed Noldor army they will play completely different.

Could the Sindar allegiance be more directed to Wood Elves in general instead of just Lothlorien. The Mirkwood Elves need some attention :veryhappy:

Well hey, there are more than enough differences to list Rhun, Harad, and Khand as different Alligences but we are all in one big happy Alligence which by the way will roll over all other Alligences in an unholy release of dark power which will consume the whole of The Palantir and be talked and disscussed about for decades to come. :good:
In short, Serpent Kingdoms = :skull:

I'd say it's even debatable about whether Harad and Rhun/Kand should be grouped together. But we're not talking about that situation, we're talking about the elves. Point is they play differently, and they will be even more seperated with the FotN supplement. If we want to be that direct in arguing things of the same race should be grouped together, lets throw together Rohan and Gondor then; they have the same stat line after all. Oh wait, they have different equipment options and special rules don't they? It makes them play differently, same thing with High and Wood elves. I'm sure the differences will become quite clear as your army becomes arrow riddled corpses.

It may be of some note that the current Serpent Kingdom allegiance, while made up of alliances that could indeed be their own allegiances, is together for one primary reason. That being they have built such a sense of brotherhood and loyalty to each other that, once we authorized (and even built) a separate area and allegiance, they voiced amazingly strong opposition to separating. The leader did not do that, it was the members.
Pretty amazing.

Ouch.
What I'm trying to say is that (as Krahl so eloquently put it) what unites us is our loyalty and determination. Nobody gives a dam* about differences in stats and equipment. We work together as one and because of that, we are made stronger. We will play with each others differences, strengths, and weaknesses to make all the different soldiers into one harmonious army.
And I agree with you that yes, we aren't talking about Harad, Rhun, or Khand, but the principle is the same. You've got several different armies trying to work with each other. Wether it be with the Easterlings, the Elves, the Men, Orcs and Uruk-hai, or even with the Unicorns and Pink and Purple polka-dotted Ponies, you're facing the exact same problem. You simply learn how to make the soldiers work together to your advantage.
