The Noldor were dorks. Feanor was a loser, Celegorm was a butthead, and I fell only Gil-Galad deserves praise.
A Noldor warrior can defeat any oppponent sent against them, except maybe a lot of dragons or balrogs....

There does not need to be any squabbling between us and our brethren, nor will I allow it. Please think twice before so insulting our allies, for they are few and our cousins from across the seas memories are as long as ours. Just because one was able to presuade many to do terrible things to their kin, it was ages ago and there are more pressing matters at hand than some petty squabble. Please do not make such rash posts again or I will be forced to take action.

HA!
Do you not think that the so called "Great Elves" of old, and their endings would send a message to you? Tell me, how did fingolfin fare against Lord Sauron's master?
And was it not the elves that fell so easily into the Dark Lords trap?
No my lord, it is a pressing matter. YOUR STRENTH HANGS BY A THREAD AND YOU SHALL FALL! ever so swiftly you are fleeing back across to your homeland, leaving middle earth to its fate. You will not fare so well, nor will you be able to stand up to the might of Mordor, Rhun, Harad, Khand, Moria, and Isengard! Your ships sailing to the undying lands will be sunk but the mighty watcher, and those that do escape its grasp will be burnt by the men of Umbar. No, a pressing matter it is, for you will be decieved ever so easily again, and the last thing your kin will see on land is the great eye, and by water, Black Sails!
Great are the powers working against you, will you even last till the end?

Hah! The Elves may flee to their fate, yet their valor is not spent, though the West calls them daily. Nay, Erebor stands with the Elves, as have all the Dwarves of Belegost and Khazad-Dum since our meeting. The shame of Nogrod is passed; together gruff and fair will battle to save the world ere we ourselves must leave it.
Too long have Gondor and Rohan held the Dark Lord at bay- now Elven horns echo in Lorien and Rivendell, and the forges of Dale and Erebor ring with the hammers of the forges of war. Let the servants of the Darkness tremble; all Middle-Earth marches to war against them!

Well met master dwarf! WE do not flee, cur. Who was it that has held middle Earth for thousands of years as well as Valinor? Who has it been that has held the great eye at bay? If your master is as great as you claim, he would have destroyed us all, and enslaved you by now. No he is but a fraction of his former self. He will be defeated, and you will be left alone in a land of chaos. Your days have been numbered so treasure each one, because if you do not fall at the hand of man, dwarf, or elf the orc will be using your hide for a cloak. We have lasted ages and seen how Sauron treats his "allies", there is nothing but himself that he cares for and he will sacrifice you sooner than look at you. No we need not fight among ourselves, I do not wish your fate upon anyone. Black hearted fool, blinded with the temptation of power you will soon be fending off the same creatures you seek to ally yourself with.
PS:
Great Watcher? wtf is that? As well Corsairs never ventured up as high as the Grey Havens.

NAY! you ARE all but destroyed, and because of the Great Lord of the Dark. We need not fight each other, though you have said differently, as we are bound to the ring, such as the master is. we are bound to the will of the Dark Lord, and you have not destroyed him, despite your efforts. Would the elves be so powerful, even with their allies. You ask us why you aren't destroyed yet, but we could ask you the same. Even so, your efforts are not worth the trouble of our master, nor is it his wish that we kill all of you, but to merely enslave you!
Held middle earth? HA! hung on for dear life more like it. Melkor shattered your people, and your beleriand was sunk beneath the sea. Though the Great One fell away, your power was bested. It shall be so, as your power now compared to then is like the single sand in a vast desert. Held at bay, the great eye, you have not. Cowered in your forests, fearing it, lays the true path of the elves. Even your forests, which you have deemed safe from his vision, has been corrupted. Have you not heard that Greenwood has been corrupted, and is now Mirkwood.
And the dwarves, can you see what happens when you wake the sleeping giant? Do you not wonder what happened to Moria? or have you forgotten that it was once a dwarf nation? You will hide, in your deep dark places of the world. We have not seen your kind in battle for some time, why is that? Have you decided to wise up and finally understand that to fight our master is folly?
Those of our allies who you speak of are only those who are in disfavor of the Dark Lord. He rewards us without a doubt, and we obey him. Master elf, you have much to understand, though, what you think means little to us. Great is our master, and dark and powerful is his wrath. It would be wise for YOU to fear him!
Out of Harad we will swarm, out of Rhun we shall march, out of Khand we shall ride. You doom is near. I can nearly hear it, the drums of war have sounded. Watch your back foes of the Dark One, else you will fall prey to his servants. watch your front, you will see the armies that will destroy you.
Woe to those who stray from the Dark One, he wrath will be great unto you. Elves, Men, Dwarves; Fear when you are cought by the Lord Sauron, you trust in your power, yet no amount of gold will save you, nor will pleading be heard.
PS: watcher in the water, ever heard of it. When the corsairs are done with gondor, where do you think they will go?

Yes you are united, united by FEAR! The power you so desperately call your master considers you nothing but pawns. He aims to destroy all men, elves, and dwarves and yet you aid him. We will not be defeated, but one way or another you shall perish and your kin. Loyalty?! Ha, the fallen wizard Curinir seeks the power of the ring himself! His armies goals are two-fold; to destroy the creature of the light, and to eventually rival Mordor. No your ties of loyalty are weak, and should you succeed in your dark plans you would proclaim your own death sentance. Slaves you all are, pitiful and misguided. You are as weak in mind as you are in body. Morgoth has not broken us, he has perished and we have remained, and the same will hold true with your master. We have suffered yes, but we are not broken. Long have we fought for the freedom of those who wish for it, and our fight continues. If we are to be made martyrs so be it, the light will remain, and the shadow will be vanquished. Twice your master has been banished. Many times has he fled. I ask you why? He fears an open war because he knows he victory is not assured. He has fled and used his allies as a shield for his escape, his only care is for himself.
Many times has your master attempted to conquer Lorien yet each time he has failed, his army left in ruin from the attempt. Greenwood has fallen into shadow but he has retreated from there. The White Council and their forces bested him there. The taint will be cleansed in time, as will eventually all the filth in Mordor. The heir of Elendil has risen, and your master fears him. Yes the time of the elves is ending but not because we are beaten. In many ways we envy you mortals, for the greatest gift you have is a natural death. In a world so violent, after eons of fighting we become weary and only wish for peace, were you so long lived the same would be true for you. We wish to create a better life for our women and children, something you have not done. Our warriors remain to fight, and fight they shall. We stand together, with our allies and protect those we hold dear. I pity you, and wish you could see the truth, but your eyes and mind are decieved. I hope that we may grant you the only thing we may give to you then, a swift death.
PS. The Watcher in the water was outside Moria in a Lake, not in the ocean. There were never any mentionings of others of the species. As well biologically it would not make sense for a freshwater creature to go out to sea as it's system could not handle the difference in sodium chloride, and PH levels. So your claim has little standing either way.

Methinks your flowery words hath reachest too many a ear. Or the other way around. you speak falsely my lord, or perhaps of not knowing, you think you know the truth.
Fear is a powerful tool, and indeed, the Great Lord of the Dark's fear has its uses, a use which has proven worthy to all those elf children that quake in fear by mere mention of his great name!
Pawns, he does use, but do not be so quick to not see the difference between pawns and tools of power. As the great game approaches, and has approached before our time, evil, though however much you try, has always prevailed.
Saruman has his purpose, though, the White Hand serves Sauron still. Do not think that mere trees and stableboys won that day because of their might alone! It only occured because the Dark Lord wished it to occur. The uruk hai still serve, and will be rewarded with Your lands.
Destroy your world of men, elves, dwarves perhaps, but his hand doesn't kill those who are faithful. Those that fear him dangerously, perhaps, but he rewards those who do his bidding.
We are his tools, and our quest is this. Destroy everthing you hold dear, and without our quest, what perpose do we serve? Morgoth has indeed perished, though he left behind an impliment of his will! we serve that now.
you say you survived, but like the Dark Ones power, you have faded as well, except that The Eye is gaining power, while yours continues to wither. Like the burning forest, our counterstroke will be great, and the destruction will know no end. The only ones to survive are those that do not stray from the path of the Dark Lord, he is mustering his army now.
Victory is assured, he does not fight you because you are not worthy to even begin to approach the Dark Lord Saruon. We are a proud race of warriors, and we will have victory against you. Stand together as much as you like, it will not save you. Fear leads to loyalty, which the master rewards. For some, they fight out of fear, for others, they fight because it is what they were meant to do.
I will say no more, the great battle of our time is about to occur. who will you stand with, whos side will you be on? do you choose life or death, for one path leads only to death! for Harad!!! For Rhun!!! for Moria!!! for the White Hand!!! and for the Great Eye!!! shadows and dust; all that will remain of our enemies is shadows and dust.
PS: i mentioned the watcher yes, and you are correct, it probably wasn't in the ocean. However, in the world of middle earth, there are more secret things in the water, more terrible. They, along will the corsairs, rule the waters, not the planks of wood you call ships.

Men may be the inferior ones in the first 2 ages, but in the third age it is the elves that are declining. Well, all races of Good decline in the third age, but the Elves are too few to fight Sauron and try to escape in fancy boats from Middle-earth to desert their human friends. It is the men that save Middle-earth from the Lord of the Ring, not the Elves.

And have you forgotten how well Him-Whose-Name-Is-Not-Spoken rewarded your people for turning the Nirnaeth Arnoediad in his favor? Did they indeed get the fertile lands of Beleriand they sought? No, they were rewarded with barren Hithlum!

Don't know if you noticed, but the lays of Beleriand are beneath the sea, and none may claim those waters.
So Speaketh the Serpent Lord
Tell me, Where was your Mahal when Moria fell? Your kindred awoke a mighty foe that destroyed that place, and now the Goblins rule there. What happened when you tried to take it back, or do you not remember that either. Nay, the valar do not tangle themselves with our affairs, not anymore! The dwarves will be delt with, just as their brethern were driven like dogs from Moria. It is not too late for the Lonely Mountain, join us, or be destroyed in the very caves you sought protection from! The great eye see's ALL, you will not stay hidden long. The choice, is yours.
Quiet Mortal, I have not lived thousands of years to be belittled by a simpleton. Your foolish mind is set on minor objectives and meaningless treasures. The Elven people and lands will live far longer than any realm of men, especially those that dwell in the desert. Your Mumakil and Ships mean no threat to us, we have seen fouler things in Middle-Earth. The orcs of Sauron are no match against the skill and dedication of each of our warriors. Yes, our people dwindle, but that is because we grow tired of these petty fights, and your forsaking of life for the betterment and greediness of corrupt leaders. No, we will not wage open war upon you, mainly because it's not worth the lives of our immortal breathren to be wasted. Although, if you attack us or any free member of Middle-Earth we will rise up and our wrath will destroy your body and spirit.
"So Speaketh the Serpent Lord" Your word means nothing to us, your life dwells on meaningless objects and your title is only protected by your followers. Tell me, do you think the dark lord will share his power? If the free people fell and all the lands were conqured, do you think he will really give you the power and authority to rule? He would throw you into a charging cavalry force to slow them down before he considered your mortal self to be in a leadership posistion.
The movies are in no way a place to hold accountability, therefore I will not accept any excuse from them. If you want to give me facts, read the book, not some made up fluff stuff from gw either, I mean the books written by the Tolkiens.
So Speaketh an Elven Lord

HA! Your thousands of years have been wasted, for your doom is near. Your mind tells you i am foolish, yes? That only shows the rest of the middle earth that elves of your realm are scared, nor do i consider a fight for survival foolish. The Elven lands are already dying, so do not tempt me to be confused on matters that are already known. Perhaps the fouler things you only saw because they were weak. The orcs of this age are strong, and will not be wiped aside so easily. The mumakil, can trample your entire people, and will do so, if you underestimate them as you have! You dwinle because you have world sickness, and that is because your light of the two trees were consumed long ago, or have your forgotten the destruction that our master's master brought about? A child of the murderer still lives, yet you are powerless to do anything to her.
Yet perhaps there is some wisdom in your words after all. Wasted your brethern's lives would be should they wage open war against us. Middle earth is ours, your might is gone, you cannot stop us!
Yet you speak as you are a great King yourself. When the Dark Lord destroyes your once and for all, do you think we will still consider you a king? Nay, you will be a slave in my field. The Dark Lord shares power with those that serve him loyally. He will let us have our lands, along with those stolen from Gondor. Authority, no, but freedom, perhaps. He will still be our master, of whom we will still serve till the end. For we are Haradrim, mighty men of the south, and even your skill is no match. Your numbers have dwindled to far to be any threat to us! Prepare yourselves, if you must, for the storm that is about to crash upon you. I want you to take a look at my face, elf child, for the next time you see it, it will be the last thing you see on this earth!
So Speaketh the Serpent Lord
The movies are in no way a place to hold accountability, therefore I will not accept any excuse from them. If you want to give me facts, read the book, not some made up fluff stuff from gw either, I mean the books written by the Tolkiens.
Aww come on, we were just having a bit of fun, and then you had to get all serious on us. Anyway, the fact is, the elves were not(well they were, but in the war of the ring) as powerful as you think. I have read the books, and i am rereading them, and the elves play in a minor role in the Lord of the Rings, at least compared to the rest of the races. I suppose you could say the same of dwarves, but thats another part. Yes, Tolkien did say ALOT about the elves, yet they didn't do a whole lot of fighting in this time period. I know Elronds sons were at pellenor, but they weren't at the fortress of Helms Deep!
Another thing to point out is there probably wouldn't be a LOTR SBG (well, at least not to the same quality or calibur) if not for the movies, so i wouldn't count them out
completely! The books are loads better, but i don't think we would have seen a better representation of those great works of litature than what we recieved from Weta, who did a brilliant job. If you think otherwise (not you Lyte, the community in general), let me ask you a question; Did you spend your money on going to the movie theater and buying the dvd or vhs of LotR? that should answere your question on how good the movies were. For most people, id like to believe its yes.

(Out of Character) That really wasn't necessary and was a huge waste of space for a quote. Which could be responded to with the same sort of pictures showing evil dying. Please don't.
(In Character)
Tell me spawn of wretchedness, if your mumakil are so powerful why you have failed to even make an impact on Gondor in the past, much less Middle Earth as a whole. The trees in Lorien roots grow deep and thier trunk wide. Our bows are always ready, so be our guest fool; save us the trouble. I have seen many a great King of Men boast as you do and die before he began to grey. You will be no different. I have not fought and seen kin die at the hands of creatures far more terrible than your mumkil to fear you oh great Serpent King. Your Master has made many attempts to take his hordes and march across the plains of Rohan, the trees of Lorien, and the White City. All have ended in his fleeing back to Mordor. The orcs of this day are but twisted elves mutated and corrupt over eons of torture and sorcery. We have had many a century spent fighting them and have grown quite accustomed to it, it is a task that we have grown quiet profiecient at. Your Mumaks will never set foot within 20 leagues of Lorien, nor will you alive. Pray that your death comes at someone with as much kindness as I, or they might relish in your torture.
20 leagues? I'd say 100.
Yes, our people are dwindling, but there is still enough to fight. Yes we have seen fouler things than orcs and crooked men, Evil Maiar and the Dark Lord himself(Morgoth) have fought us, and tell me, who is still standing, and who is in the void and banished from Arda? Even though our people are not at the force they once were, an army can still be summoned, and each Elven Warrior will be stronger than your champions. Tell me, who was defeated at the battle for Dol Guldor? Was it not the Elven warriors of Lorien and Mirkwood, allied with the men of the land to defeat the evil of that place?
Your men have courage and strength, but even your beasts will stop in fear of the power that we hold, remember that the three rings are still ours, and each of them in the hands of some of the most powerful people in Middle Earth. Attack us, or any of the Free People, and you will fall. This is your last warning.

If you would think us so dumb to charge the mumakil into the your great forest, then that is a good thing for us, for you have severly underestimated us. Foolish it would be to come into your forest to hunt you, better it would be to just burn you out! How do your great trees reacte to fire? or your cities hidden in cowerdice? You be too old to understand the new ways of fighting, though, i do have to give you credit, many elven warriors do posses some skill. Terrible creatures may be more scary, but are they more powerful. Nay, you have not fought the creatures of old, but you will die by the creatures of our realm. The White city may still stand, but what about its sister. Minas Morgal was built by the world of men, and it fell, just as Minas Tirith will fall. If at any time, you feel the impulse to fight fairly, and not hide in your trees, come out to and we will do battle, and we shall see who is the victor! (Hint Hint: Los, lets do a battle and if you win, i stay off this thread, if i win, well, we'll see what i can do) Your talk of torture does not bother me, there are many happenings of far worse in the deserts of Harad. Of course, you wouldn't know that, for if you were to step foot into far harad, survival would be the least of your worries!

Tell me, how many elves fell before the master fell? Where were your mighty valar when the two trees fell, by our masters power (and his spiders friend). Our champions have yet to be revealed, though again, one would not know this without stepping foot into our lands, which no elf will survive. True, Umbar was taken more than once, but that is not the true power of Harad. Nor is it the power of Khand or Rhun. A pointy reckoning awaits those who try to take what belongs to us.
As is known, the mumakil would not shy away in fear, it is too stupid to understand the concept of your power, little as it is. Your rings to do not frighten us, lest we call for aid of the nine, who all have rings such as yours. Attack you, nay, destroy you, indeed.
My last warning. HA! threaten us all you want, it will not stay the onslaught that will occur. Your only chance is to stay out of our affairs. Then you'll live to see another morning.............at least for a while!
So speaketh the Serpent Lord, Lord of Umbar, Master of Khand, and Ruler of Rhun

And how many orcs fell?
Our champions have yet to be revealed,
Are they too busy cowering behind the Eye?

Nor is it the power of all of Gondor, or the free peoples for that matter.

No worries, we don't want your things. What would we take? Sand? Wicker baskets? I'll pass.

Well at least something doesn't shiver in fear from the Elves. They must get their stupidity from their masters.
Your rings to do not frighten us, lest we call for aid of the nine, who all have rings such as yours. Attack you, nay, destroy you, indeed.
The nine? Those same ones who were ridded of by one Ranger and failed to kill the ring bearer (nor any small Hobbit for that matter)? Ha!
My last warning. HA! threaten us all you want, it will not stay the onslaught that will occur. Your only chance is to stay out of our affairs. Then you'll live to see another morning.............at least for a while!
Ah, resorting to black text to cover up those words you mistakenly said. Either way, easier said than done.

So the wretch speaketh again eh? Very well I shall entertain your warlust, your craiving for death. Our armies shall be joined in battle, for there is no reasoning with a creature as foul as yourself is there. Will the chaos, and stench of death, satisfy your blood stained soul? Nay I think that even afterwards when your lifeless corpse litters the field of battle you would lust for more could you will it.
So you would burn us out of our forrest would you? I wish to know how when water is abundant and the folliage lush. There are reasons that Sauron and his minions have not been able to put seige to Lorien. It is a living being, that renues itself and we protect it in turn. I can see how little of this you know, living surrounded by notrhing but an ocean of sand your entire life. No fire will not avail you, it has been tried. Orcs and evil men have tried before and failed. So yes I suppose your army, thousands of miles away from home, with no line of supplies, deep in enemy ground, would succeed where all others have failed.
Where were the Valar? They were hunting Morgoth, when he fled in fear of them, because he could not harm them he decided to turn against us instead thinking us too weak to hefeat him. Yet Fingolfin woulded him seven times before he fell, ensuring that Morgoth would not be able to fighrt again. Imagine that? A lowly elf harming a mighty valar, even the mightiest of men cannot claim the same glory. We have stood since before the darkness came to these lands, seen it fall, and a new one rise. We will stand to see this one fall as well.
Why do you hide you words unless you wish them not to be seen. Coward I say! You fear the fall of your Master and of your power. Yes summon the Nine, I would like to see them fall once again. They flee before us or have notr noticed that? They flee before the light of Glorfindel because all they are is shadow and malice. Glorfindel while mighty is not the strongest of us, for Lady Galadriel is beyond him and beyond your masters greatest of servants.

He hides his words because you are not worthy enough to look upon them. Yes, Glorfindel and Galadriel would best the nine, and the nine know. So they can best the greatest of my masters servants. Yet what they cannot do is best my master. All we must do is find his treasure and he will be unstoppable. He will not fall to a lucky strike. He will be more carefull with his treasure. Your king Gil-Galad was set aflame by the hatred the Dark Lord had for him. Imagine how much hatred he has for your race now. Your woods shall burn and hopefully you with them. All we must do is find the treasure.....

Do not soil my life with your petty words. I live the way of the spear, not the way of death. Lusting for battle is not my way, but doing what i must, is indeed the master's plan. Foul you say, but you have not tasted foulness. You've never known horror, but one day, you shall find the difference of the consequences between loyalty and deceit of the dark one. We shall join in battle, and from my mighty spear, you shall be finished, and your head will have a new resting place.
So you would burn us out of our forrest would you? I wish to know how when water is abundant and the folliage lush. Even the mighty elves cannot survive the fire in which i speak. The masters wrath will be infinate, and you shall be purged from this world. The inferno will cleanse the land, and may you find eternal slumber in your forest, and may you at last find solace in the last embrace of mother earth. Methinks it would be a fitting death for your people. If you think that water and folliage can stop the Dark Lord, perhaps you are not right in the head. My army in nought but a tool for the master, and he is the master of battle and thought, he will find a way for us to do his bidding, whether it be my army, or another's.
Where were the Valar? They were hunting Morgoth, when he fled in fear of them, because he could not harm them he decided to turn against us instead thinking us too weak to hefeat him. Do you believe everything you hear, master elf. Fingolfin died on his knees, and though he did die after wounding our master, I would not constitute a few scratches as legendary. Even so, your ancestors did much, we'll give you that. However, you are not your ancestors, and you shall fall more quickly, you are more susceptible to death, and the blades of the Dark One, by the mighty Haradrim, or by any servent to the Master, you shall fall. On your knees, like Fingolfin, you shall beg for his mercy.
So Speaketh, the Serpent Lord
My words can be taken lightly, though if you do no heed them, it shall be your undoing. Forsake these lands, and you shall be free. Our masters arm does not reach to the undying lands! Go there, save yourself, friend elf. For if you stay, your blood shall stain the earth, and you shall never be free. Serve or go, those are the only choices that you have if you wish to live. The master's wrath is swift, and when he recovers what was lost, you will have no escape. Go back to where you belong, and be safe with your lives! Your death will be absolute if you do not flee, or SERVE THE LORD OF DARKNESS! GREAT IS HE, AND HE WILL REWARD THOSE WHO SERVE!

Lets see is it the Great Eye...or the GREAT MOUTH ??I always get them confused, one in the same I guess :taunt:
The point still being ..yes Evil is powerful & racks up a lot of points but
lets face your Choke Masters, you simply can't win the big ones!
The Dwarves on the other hand are closers, at our last big outing we
chased the Orcs from pillar to post .The Orcs were pathetic at the end even
We felt bad for them!!.The real reason we didn't re-enter Moria at the end
of the Dwarf -Orc War was to give them a chance to rebuilt so we would
have the pleasure of smashing them down again.
Evil manlings your Great Mouth leads you to your doom, repent now rather
than face the Forces of Light.

Tell me, (even though this is off topic) how did mighty Balin fare, or did he let them kill him too. If what you say is true, then you let one of your own go in there to what? see if you could "smash them down". Hmm, that shows how much you value your fellow dwarf's lives. Mighty axe is no more, not in the deep dark places of the world. The orc rules there, and it will take more than flowery words to reclaim them. Try again, master dwarf, and i fear your fate will be the same as Balin's

I would merely like to point out that there is no threat whatsoever from the Elves, the Men or the Dwarves. What did you do in aiding the final defeat of Sauron? Distracted him, maybe, but the only race that actually did anything useful, e.g. destroy the Witch King, destroy the One Ring, aid in the death of Smaug, aid in the re-establishment of the King Under the Mountain, etc. were the Hobbits! Therefore, we feel no threat from you poncy Elves whatsoever. If we wipe out the Hobbits, all will be good!
On a side note, it's a shame that the Men of Gondor had to rely on dead men to defeat our Corsairs. A shame that in the book, the Forces of the Free Peoples are recorded as killing exactly 0 Mumakil. It's a shame that the Free Peoples failed in many respects.
However, as I regard Harad as a race forced to war by Sauron, and when played as an army in their own right, neither Good nor Evil, I will say that Mordor did pretty cack. I mean, Sauron sends his best servants, the Nazgul, and they are thrown down by some random Elf who got beat by a mere Balrog? Pah. What use are you?
What we need to remember is that Harad are going to rule the south of Middle-earth, with a client king in Minas Tirith as our vassal, and allow Rohan to merely offer tributes of warriors and horses to our armies. Rhovanion will be a free populace, under the condition of non-aggression, as will Eriador. Mordor can sit and stew in Sauron's menace, and the Men of the East will assist us in our ruling of Middle-earth.
For the Serpent!
