Well probably. There was a Shire allegiance when the supplement was released. I dont see a reason why they wouldn't be.

Pray tell, why not? sea_of_rhun would make a great leader. He's obviously passionate about the Easterlings and that's what counts most.

i also agree, that Orth....i dont know why i said it acctually, im not usually that angry (and mean) so i apologise to you. I t may be that i was annoyed at you when you used to spam alot (i know for a fact im not the only one) and have subconciously started to pick on your posts. I will try to stop from now on....

This whole subject has been up in the air since there was even talk of a easterling allegiance. The problems being with this issue is that one the rules are not out as of yet and we're not sure how they would fit into things. Two creating another allegiance requires finding a suitable leader which must be done. THe campaign is not finished as of yet and with new rules coming out very close together it is hard to keep updating the rules for it.

yes, it has, and it is still being debated even moreso now. i think that it will be more of a current issue when the rules for shadows of the east are released.

Thank you for the apology, i try to keep my post constructive and intresting which i know tend to do if you check my recent posts you'll find that nearly all of them are longer than they used to be.

And yes i am passionate about easterlings they have always been my favourite Lord of the rings model and character from the films and books.

I have SiTE and helped playtest some of the models so I can vouch that they are a more than capable army and will fit into any campaign. I'm sure a leader could be found. I think Krahl's still peeved at me though so how about sea_of_rhun or Orth?

Do you just have the rule book or do you have some minis also. Have the rules changed from what was in the new rule book apart from the wargear?
How did the easterlings fair against other armies?

Easterlings stand up well to other armies, particularly Gondor (as they are virtually the same troop, same price, but with a special rule). I don't have any of the new models, no. Khamul's different from other wraiths aswell.

LB, you seem to be familiar with the easterlings, i think you would make a great leader! i dont quite think me or Sea_of_Rhun have the experience to be honest.

But as I said, it's the ones who are most passionate that make the best leaders. Look at skywalker for example. I am building an easterling army and intend to play many battles, but my passion is borderline.

Good to hear, i hope Rhun will be one of the greatest allegencies out there, i know for a fact that the other allegencies are also great, so it would be hard to beat :D

Well, we havn't REALLY had an official response yet, (as in Krahl, who controls coding), and the rules and most of the Rhun models are out, so could we please have a Rhun allegience and forum added?
