Will this campaign coming up be something like the War of the Ring Campaign that went on over in Brittan? What would happen if we couldn't find an opponent near us (such as me who lives in little old New Zealand)? I love the idea of a campaign, I'm just wondering about the practicalities of it.

Yes, in many ways it will be similar. If you have a local opponent, that will be great. If not, we are also allowing the game to be played via VoTR if you have access to it and so choose.

We will be releasing more information very soon as to details. :)

I spent about half an hour downloading it a while ago (I have a 56k modem) and I couldn't seem to get it to work; I clicked on the application and nothing happened. Do you know what the problem might be?

That is good, cause I really forum run campaigns. (If you play Warhammer, and Empire, check out Warhammer-Empire.com, they have an awesome campaign going on) But Losliath.... You have now wasted about a minute of my life as I start to read all the recent posts since joining.

Aye, the trials and tribulations the fine folks at warhammer-empire have gone through have not gone without notice as we've inched forward with our plans for our own campaign.

We have really been taking our time with the campaign here and I hope it lives up to the expectations of everyone who will play in it.

Just joined.. I didn't realize the campaign had finally began so figured I'd join for a few reasons. Although I don't play WH or 40k other than extremely rarely, I do enjoy reading battle reports and other articles. It's also easier to access certain areas of the site and camp. area.

Might be kinda hard, most of my posting is in the Talabelcand faction forum, so you would have to join us. But honestly, this campaign looks cool, how are people getting build points and such?
