Cleaning up the Model
Clip off any bits of sprue ready for cleaning up. Now go over the model and find any mould lines. Use a modelling file to make these flat and unnoticeable.
Now glue it together in the required pose. Glue one of the gothic ruin bases to the mordor troll base to make it look ornate.

Painting the Model
Step 1, Undercoat
Undercoat the whole model in chaos black making sure that The WHOLE model is black including the part of ruin on the base.

Step 2, the Armor
Drybrush the armour heavily with tin bitz. Now drybrush it normally with boltgun metal followed by a light drybrush of mithril silver.

Step 3, the Skin
Basecoat the skin dwarf flesh, drybrush with a 50/50 mix of elf flesh and dwarf flesh. Now very lightly drybrush the skin with elf flesh. Ink the back scales with brown ink.

Step 4, the Straps
Paint all the straps with scorched brown then highlight them with bestial brown. Any metal parts are to be touched up with boltgun metal with a highlight of mithril silver.

Step 5, the Face
Paint the tongue dwarf flesh highlighted with a mix of dwarf flesh and skull white. Touch up the teeth with skull white and paint on the one eye to the troll’s helmet (optional).
